Liège is quirky. Liège is strange. Liège est laid. Belgian’s third largest city has been described in many ways, simply because it is hard to define. Liège may not be first on people’s travel lists, but it should be. Its unique combination of architectural styles, cloudy skies, and winding streets seems to never make sense. But, that is exactly what makes Liège such an inspiring backdrop: it is a little odd with a lot of spirit. The locals are proud of the place they call home, and in this Minimal City series, we aim to show you why.
